.NET 3.5 SP1
I have to load .net 3.5 SP1 for TurboxTax to work on my computer? Do you have to have 3.0 loaded for 3.5 to load??? I only had 1.1 in my list of programs. I have fought with it all day. I talked to TurboTax, and been on MS.com doing everything possible to fix this problem....not luck.1 person needs an answerI do too

From the MS website..."an error has occurred and the installation has stopped.". From the TruboTax CD..."Cannot load .net frameworks 3.5 SP1 due to error 1603".

Open Control panel > add/remove programs. Locate .Net Frame work 1.1. Choose to uninstall. Next click on the link below and download the Uninstall Cleanup Tool from Microsoft. Run the tool then try to install .Net Framework 3.5 sp1 again. Thank your for your response.....nothing seems to help...I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleaned up...followed all directions from you and ms.com. I am now taking my laptop to my computer guy.

Thanks for reponding.....I have tried everything you suggested an all that was on the links you suggested....I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleaned up.....it still gives me the error. I think it is a problem with the SP1......I am now taking the laptop to my computer guy to look at.
