Hi all, Our company uses a policy to configure the IE Proxy configuration script so that when you are in the office you have to go through the proxy and when you are out of the office, you browse unfettered. We have found that Windows 7 will hang and search fo this proxy script server a full 20 seconds before it proceeds to the webpage. This is proven through a wireshark analysis where it will send packets searching for the script server for 20 seconds before it goes on to the website. We need to change this search to 3 seconds as 20 seconds would cause nothing but calls to our helpdesk when they take their new Win7 computer home. How can I accomplish this? Thanks Pete
