2 NIC's One Computer, 2 Networks, 1 Corporate, 1 DSL
Okay, I have a unique situation. I have a computer that runs Win 7 Enterprise that has 2 NIC cards. I am using NIC1 for DSL and NIC 2 for our corporate network. This is a test computer that I run virtual machines on, so it needs access to both networks. The way I would like for them to work is with DHCP on both. The only way I have gotten it to work (because windows does not like two seperate gateways) Is run the DSL in DHCP and then run the corporate in DHCP just to get the address, then set that connection to static using the same address that it picked up from DHCP and leave off the gateway on the corporate network. It works, but I am out of compliance on the corporate network as all systems should use DHCP. Any magical way around this? I only use the corporate network for my virtual machines.

We say, you want to sit on too many chairs. I do not see the possibility because of there is no DHCP default relay agent (RFC 1542, and newer) Regards Milos

Yeah, I didn't think so. I was just hoping that it could be done. I will keep it the way I have it until I get my hand slapped. Thanks!!
