I downloaded 8.1 pro from Microsoft, providing a product license key (Key Ref #1255504. beginning HK83N) at download point, and creating installable media on a USB stick for installation on an Intel NUC.Note that the key verified OK at this stage.

NUC boots OK to the setup, but fails to verify the product license key provided.
