802.1x - Computer Authentication Registry Key
Hi All,
Recently I was unable to get my Windows XPsp3 computer to connect to the Wireless LAN after user login. As a result, I needed to modify the registry adding a DWORD AuthMode=2 (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\EAPOL\Parameters\General\Global\AuthMode=2
) Entry. Now my windows 7 I'm having the same problem. Is there a registry key in Windows 7 I can use to force the computer authentication?
Thanks

Hi,
Based on my research, enable 802.1X authentication in Windows 7, you can refer to the following link
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Enable-802-1X-authentication
In addition, I will share the following KB for you. Windows 7 configuration is similar to Windows Vista.

Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Niki
