ACPI Driver responding slower then requested & windows going straight to repair when started.
When I try to start up my Aspire 5517 Hd laptop it goes straight to a message saying windows wont start and it has issues, a message then pops up and says it is repairing windows operating system, however after several hours it black screens and will not respond, so I have to completley shut down., its not giving error information or leaving a log, I went back to factory settings saving everything into a back up file in C, and was able to get back on, when I shut down or restart I have to do the same thing to get back in. I got into event viewer, but there is still no actual log, in even t viewer there are several events all the same ( Apti driver for NT is responding slwoer the expected to the resume request to this device: ACPI Driver for NT. Driver Version 6.1.7600.16385 Device name ACPI_HAL\Pnpoco8\o Device Friendly Name-Microsoft ACPI Compliant System Event ID 351 Task Category: Stand by performance monitoring My OS is windows 7 home basic. I have tried updating the drivers but it says they are already updated. I have had this laptop, running the same programes and the such for 5 months with no problems, I was using it last night with no issues, no one has touched it, it shut down with no problems then, apoun start up this morning all thee above happened.
