We recognized a problem after installing Windows7 SP1 on a machine used for developping applications. The program, using ADO for database access, built on this machine runs only on other Windows 7 Systems with SP1. On all other Platforms (XP, Vista, Windows 7 without SP1) it will not work, the database connection with the ADO connection string will fail. Does anybode have a workaround (A de-installation of SP1 will not be a good solution) or does anyboy know, if and when Microsoft will fix the problem?

Yes ! Exactly the same problem here. Since our dev machine got the W7 SP1, programs compiled on this one does not work with machines not using W7 SP1. Seems that all ADO connections failed. I've uninstalled the SP1 and everithing is fine now. Please make a fix !
