AES encryption not supported for 802.1x
Greetings! I want to clarify if AES encryption is currently not supported for 802.1x security type? It's not showing up...WEP seems to be the only available option and it's greyed out. Is this a known issue or what?

802.1x is the "classic" implementation of this technology. If you choose WPA-Enterprise or WPA2-Enterprise you are able to use AES encryption for wireless security with 802.1x authentication.Ray

The security method and encrytion type must be set in the router configuration. The router must support WPA or WPA-2 to use AES encryption. Typically, WEP must be disabled on the router to enable WPA.Check your router settings and then see what the wireless adapter recognizes as available.ASUS P4PE-P4 Extreme 3.4gHz-2gb G.Skill PC3200-XPSP3:55gb-Win7RC:17gb-DATA:500gb-ASUS N6800GT
