While I am working on something on my computer, such as Word or Firefox, every few seconds the window in which I am working suddenly goes into an inactive state (i.e. the top bar goes gray and the window button in the bottom taskbar pops out instead to show that it is inactive). Once a minor irritation, now whenever I play a fullscreen game, it takes me right back to the desktop without warning. I have heard from other sources that the problem lies with programs "stealing focus," but after their solutions the problem still continues. I have not had this problem for very long, but I do not know what is going on how to stop it. I have run various anti-spyware and anti-error sweeps on my computer, but nothing has been found.
