Access a networked program
I"m running Windows 7 Pro on my desktop, I want to work in my Access database from a networked laptop running XP. I set up a link to the program in a shared folder (3rd party...Network Magic manages the network). When I click on the shortcut I get a message that says the program has moved or changed and I can't gain access to it. Can anyone help with this problem?

Hi, the error message “program has moved or changed” mean the path of your share folder is incorrect or the folder is not exist. Please make sure the path of share folder is correct and the folder is not move to another place. Furthermore, please make sure the issue is not related with network. Try to share the folder form Windows XP normally and access the share folder by using \\ipaddress\foldername or \\hostname\foldername to check if PC of Windows 7 can access the share folder. If this issue does not occur, it is a possible that the problem relate to the third part tools. Try to reinstall it or ask the tool manufacturer for further help.
