Hi,On my windows xp SP3, I am trying to update some entries in hosts file and not able to. Becasue the file is read only mode and I am trying to change the read only mode and not able to do. Hope there is some issue. I could see there is some unwanted entries updated in hosts file.Hope someone help on this1 person needs an answerI do too

Take the ownership of the hosts file by following the steps listed in the article below: "Access is Denied" error message when you try to open a folder Check if this helps you.
