Hello, Where I currently work there are some files that have been placed on a network share \\server\folder\file.ext Whenever I try to copy these files and paste them onto my computer, I receive an error message "Access is Denied". However, if I go to other folders in that share \\server\folder2\file2.ext I am able to successfully copy this file onto my computer. I have looked at the permissions and I see that Everyone is given Full Control on both 'folder' and 'folder2' and it states that the permissions are set to the folder, subfolders and file inside. I have even explicitly given my user name full control to the folder and set myself as the owner of the folder of the files that I need. How is it that I can access files on the same share in one folder and not in the other when they seem to have the same permissions? Any help would really be appreciated, Thank you
