Access local contacts via Lync2010 Client

Hi,

Since a couple months proud owner of a windows Phone (920). My company is using lync 2010 so installed the lync 2010 client. On my previous Phone (Iphone 3gs) i was able to choose which contact list i wanted to use: iphone contacts &  lync contacts.

All my contacts are storred in my live id which is being used on my WP. Is there anyway that you can access your live id contacts through the lync client?

thanks in advance!

regards

Sven

Lync fetches data for the contact from three data sources: presence from Lync Server, GAL, and Outlook personal contact data from Microsoft Exchange. It cant retrieve the contact in you live id directly.

If you organization deploys Federation with Public Instant Message, you can add the Windows Live account to your Lync contact list by clicking Add a Contact/Add a Contact Not in My Organization in Lync main Window.

Lisa,

Thanks for you quick reply! I am able to create outlook contacts and stuff but and see them in my lync contacts. The sad thing is that i can only see the mail addresses and not the Phone numbers...

Regards

Sven
