ActiveX Windows Internet Exporer Error Message on Sound Troubleshooter in Help and Support Center
When I try to run the Sound Troubleshooter in Help and Support Center from Control Center- Sounds and Audio Devices Properties - Hardware - Troubleshoot, I get the error messageAn AcitveX control on this page is not safe. Your current security setting prohibit running unsafe controls on this page, As a result, this page may not display as intended.It does not matter what security I choose - even the lowest gets this error. I can't run the troubleshooter and I'm sure that MS does not have unsafe ActiveX controls. 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi,1. May I know why are you trying to run the sound troubleshooter?2. Are you having issues with Sound and Audio devices?Change your security settings in Internet Explorer to permit ActiveX controls to run and check.a. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.b. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.c. Click the Security tab, and then click Customlevel.d.
