Adding a computer to a home network for getting internet
We have three computers in our house. Two of them are already connected to our home network. For some reason, one of the computers is not able to connect, (our windows XP), or i just cant figure out how to. The computer that is not getting internet and that is not connected to our home network has a little blue cable plugged into it. That same blue cable is plugged into our modem on the other end (i think its called the modem, not quite sure)I have tryed to use the articles on the computer about this issue, but I just can't figure it out.So basically, the computer is connected to the "modem", but its just wont connect to the internet. 1 person needs an answerI do too

Please quote in full. Please describe the physical connections of all your computers, starting with the wall outlet. Specify if your service is DSL or cable. Very important: give the make and model of the "modem" and all other piecesof equipment other than your computers that are involved in your network. For example:- DSL service from wall outlet connected to Zyxel Prestige 645M-UHP.- Zyxel connected by wire to Linksys WRT54G v.4.- computer 1 connected to WRT54G by cable- computer 2 connected to WRT54G wirelessly- computer 3 connected to WRT54G wirelessly- IOGEAR GPSU21 connected to WRT54G by cable- Canon MP500 printer connected to GPSU21 by USB -- Lem
