I had a virus and had to clean my computer, after I reinstalled my Windows XL home edition I had a problem and selected the repair in the XL start up. I was asked for Administrator Password which I do not know. I also had an issue on a computer at work which was a XL professional and had the same issue with asking for an Administrator password.

HiOne way that you can do this is if you have another Administrator account that you can log on with. You can use the second administrator account to replace the password in the first account. This is a private computer that is not connected to the internet. No password was ever installed. I cannot connect to the internet, it is why I want to run the repair function.
