Aero and Color Scheme problem
Hi, We have some machines running Windows 7 Enterprise 32bit Have created a custom aero theme and configured to use the theme in the Group Policy When a user logon to the system the first time, the theme picked up perfectly and areo is enable however when the user log off and log back in, the color scheme changed to Windows 7 basic I have looked at the event log and found the following errors: The Desktop Window Manager did not start because an analysis of the hardware and configuration indicated that it would perform poorly and The Desktop Window Manager has exited with code (0x40010004) Any idea why?

What hardware do you run it on? Does the problem occur on different computers, with different hardware? Have you tried upgrading your video drivers? Can you provide details on your Windows Experience index (base score & sub scores?) addendum : You could also try to modify this setting (control panel -> system -> advanced settings -> settings (under performance) à http://www.mostiwant.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Windows_7_Performance_Options.png Changing this from "Let windows decide what's best for my computer" to forcing to use Aero might change the behaviour on those PC's.
