Hello, I have tried to connect a illyam (Pro Lite E2410HDS) monitor to my sony laptop running windows xp. I think I should have downloaded a driver for the monitor because it didn't get a picture even after using the screen switching function keys FN F7. First of all is this correct? The main problem I have is that after selecting an option in the control panel regarding extending the desktop to the new screen area, my desk top display changed and all of my icons disappeared off screen. They are still there but I have to search for them in the "dark" with no success. I cannot access or view the control panel because it appears off screen so cannot reset the screen. Is there a way to reduce the screen back to the original state using keyboard commands, or is there another way to reset the screen? I would be extremely grateful for any advice you could give me please?1 person needs an answerI do too
