Am I Eligible?
I was sent an email from Microsoft inviting me to beta test but i dont know how to access the newsgroups. My connection is called "Windows Ecosystem".Here is the e-mail:
"Dear WDK/WLK User:I would like to invite you to join the WDK Beta program for Windows 7. The PC Ecosystem Connect site will provide you with Windows 7 beta downloads of:
The WDK
Free and Checked Builds of the OS
Symbols
The WLK
The Windows SDK
The feedback link at the site will create a report that goes directly into the Windows 7 bug database - you will get email as your issue is resolved, so you can track it.Please join the beta, download the WDK, and make sure all of your drivers build correctly using the new WDK. Also, check out OACR - it runs Prefast for Drivers by default whenever you build a driver.Use this link to join the beta:http://connect.microsoft.com/InvitationUse.***(removed by me)Thank you for your help.WDK Team"ThanksAli

I have never used the newsgroups but I found this page about using them. It's under the Community tab of your technet home page.

I think that beta-test is not the same as the other beta-test.

In what way. I was e-mailed about a week before the public releases of the Beta and the RC to test them.Ali

I get deleted for mocking the subtle semantic variations that for eg raise questions about the difference between qualifying vs eligibility to upgrade. Here, there seems to be a subtle difference between the pronunciation of your beta-test program and the other beta-test program. There will be a big difference in how your Connect Dashboard appears, though, compared to the other.
