An incorrectly named driver
I made a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit. And here's what I see in non-PnP devices list:http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/1168/20090111114846oc2.pngThe driver that this entry refers to is clean and is digitally signed by "Microsoft Corporation"I also scanned my computer with a variety of AV's and there are no virii on my PC. So, is this a bug of Windows or something else?Impossible is nothing

HiLikely a device is being picked up by Windows and wrongly identified, maybe a real device or non-existant one, Ifound the same listing in Device Manager and reported it via the Feedback option in Windows 7, as it may cause some users to think that they have as you suspected have malware or another issue. If your PC is working fine so far, I would suspect that this device is not causing any issues and likely a legacy device as the text shows ISA/EISA in the text, so possibly linked to the older ISA/EISA bus slots on the motherboard and the text needs changing for the devices description. There cannot be a crisis today....my schedule is already full

That's why I was a bit annoyed by this. As for me it looks like someone's joke - just like someone decided to replace usual ANSI characters with similar looking Unicode ones.BrowniMFC said:FYI, I've got exactly the same device in my installation. Thanks! That definitely confirms that this is not malware.Impossible is nothing
