I have a problem with windows 7 (build 7100).Some games( Rappelz, Counter-Strike 1.6...), which are using the internet connection couldn't connect to server.My browser, internet messengers work perfectly.Under windows XP that games are working perfectly .My lan is home based network. I'm using only standards protection solutions.The windows brandmauer and windows defender are disabled.What I need to do for resolve my problem?

Hi, Thank you for posting. Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Run the games with Compatibility Mode. 2. Right click on the game and select Run as Administrator. 3. Disable the security software (such as firewall, anti-virus, ect) and run the games to see how it works. 4. If you use Windows Firewall, please try resetting Windows Firewall settings to default and see if it works. 1) Click the Start Button. 2) In the search bar type wf.msc and press Enter. 3) Right-click the root Windows Firewall with Advanced Security on Local Computer and choose Restore Default Policy. 4) When the promote appears, click Yes. 5) Reboot the computer and check the issue. Compatibility mode: Turn off desktop composition & with xpsp3 +firewall off = enough for the game. or try to ping the game server.
