Application jumplist not showing Chinese and Japanese text
Hello, One of the applications I use shows Chinese and Japanese text in jumplist as squares. This is happening only on one computer. I tested it on some several other (32 and 64 bit) computers and it is showing everything correctly. The computer that it is not working correctly is running 32bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate. All computers are running English version of windows 7. What can be the reason of the strange behavior? How can I fix it?MCTS, CodeProject MVP 2008

Hi, According to your description, I suggest to perform these tests to troubleshoot the issue: 1 Login with Clean Boot 2 Reset jump list with these steps: 1) Click “Start” 2) Open a command prompt 3) Input these two commands del /F /Q %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations\* del /F /Q %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations\* 4) Reboot PC 3 Create another user account to see if the same issue occurs. 4 If issue persists, try to perform an in-place upgrade to repair the system: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2255099 Hope that helps.
