Asus Travelmate 5720 Laptop - All Networks only works for a short while after initial boot...
Hello,I have an Asus Travelmate 5720 with Windows 7 Ultimate installed. When the system starts up, everything works perfectly for about ten (10) minutes after logging in.Then, all of a sudden, I cannot connect to anything. I can see all of the networks and Windows tells me that I am connected but that I have limited access. The type of network doesn't matter (wired or wireless). All of the connections are affected at once. Nothing is logged in the event viewer.I can try renewing the IP address, resetting the adapters, and even changing over to a manual IP address to no avail.Only restarting works, and then I get cut off again.Has anyone ever seen this? And if so, any solutions?Thank you for your time.Regards,Chris K.

Hi, First, I suggest you restart the computer and boot to Safe Mode with Networking for a test. Does the issue occur in this mode? If the issue persists, please bypass the router or switcher and connect to the DSL Modem via wired cable to troubleshoot the issue. Otherwise, please perform a Clean Boot on the problematic machine to check the result. Thanks, Novak
