My attachable keyboard stops working all the time. It stops for no reason and next thing it's working again. I have had it and my surface pro fo less than six months. I have tried troubleshoot but it doesn't detect a problem

Does detaching and reattaching help? Check the magnetic connections for debris and make a cleaning. You may visit  the Surface Online Service Center to ge

I had similar trouble with mine, but cleaning the contacts seemed to help.

Which keyboard?  FWIW I have one of the earlier models which work better for a screen cover and only occasional typing than as a real keyboard (for either my Surface 2 RT or Surface 2 Pro) but in fact I think most of my problems with it stopped when I found out that there were some firmware updates available and installed them.   ; )
