Audio level keeps dropping
Windows XP Home,
My sound level constantly drops to zero. With the Volume Control open, any attempt to increase the Front Speaker volume causes the bar to drop back down to zero. All my audio drivers are up to date, and it doesn't work if I switch my Audio options between
the sound card and the on board sound. An interesting thing is, if I have both the on board and sound card volume panels open, the one not selected in my options, I can set the volume. As soon as I switch the options to the other one, the bar on that panel
immediately drops and the unused hardware is now settable for volume. Anyone know what's causing this?1 person got this answerI do too
