Well, I have no idea. Obviously I would say, do not use a 3d screensaver, but you know that already. Are your power saving options set to stand by?Young and Learning... Have Mercy

I found this:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306676I found a similar post in an Hewlett Packard forum:http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01207163&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=101&prodSeriesId=1847703&prodTypeId=321957Apparently, the problem is an issue with the default XP implementation of Open GL. Did you try downloading the the latest Open GL drivers for you video card? For NVidia Cards you should be able to get MS Windows Open GL Drivers here:http://developer.nvidia.com/object/opengl_driver.htmlI suspect that even if you installed the standard XP Drivers for your video card that the vendor specific Open GL driversmay not have been installed because most people favor DirectX to OpenGL. If getting the latest OpenGL Drivers for your video card still doesn't help, you might ask http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/or http://www.opengl.org/community/contact/to see if there is someway you can get an updated version of OpenGL for XP.
