BIOS upgrade
I have a sony vaio vpcea35fg laptop which I recently upgraded from windows 7 home premium 64 bit to windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. I tried using bitlocker drive encription but it said that I do not have TPM installed. I accessed my firmware and searched for
it but could not find it. Does this mean that I will not be able to use bitlocker? Before upgrading, I had run the windows 7 upgrade advisor and it said that I was good to go about installing windows 7 ultimate. Is there any BIOS update which can resolve this
issue? I was unable to find one on the sony vaio website.
I would be really grateful if you could help.
Yours sincerely,
Arnab Goswami.

Hello,
If you don't have the TPM module, you will only be able to use Bitlocker ToGo.
For questions about your hardware and firmware updates, I would recommend that you contact VAIO Technical Support for assistance.
