BSOD and Windows 7 Pro
I have a user that just reported a BSOD while running quite a few (+3) instances of Autodesk Revit files. My guess is he ran out of memory, but is there anyway someone could take a look at the Minidump file and confirm, or at least point me in the direction of how to confirm what caused the crash. He is working on a HP Z400 workstation with 12 GB of Ram and a 500 MB hard drive with a quad core xeon processor. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!Mark T. Kenny

1. Upload minidump to any free cloud repository, for example SkyDrive. Without minidump we can guess from crystal ball. 2. Look into evet logs if there are any errors and warnings. 3. Address HP community forum 4. You have omitted important information: Is this new phenomenon or recurring one? Any new installs, updates and changes of configuration? Regards Milos

Thank you for your reply, as you can see, I don't do this much. Hopefully I have answered some of your comments below. 1.) https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?cid=f41a766aeca9b0f1&resid=F41A766AECA9B0F1!203&parid=F41A766AECA9B0F1!182&authkey=!AB5Xy-lJ3KnZdaM 2.) https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?cid=f41a766aeca9b0f1&resid=F41A766AECA9B0F1!204&parid=F41A766AECA9B0F1!182&authkey=!AM50Wgrrm_KObVw 3.) I will continue to research HP Community Forums to determine what may have caused the BSOD using information I have now provided you. 4.) This is the first time the user reported any problems at all regarding BSOD's. There was a number of Updates that were installed this am, but there are 40 other users with identical machines that got the same updates and use the same files this user was without any issue. Hope this information helps. Thanks for your comments! I appreciate your time.Mark T. Kenny
