BSOD on fresh install of Windows 7 x64
Hi Everyone,
I installed Windows 7 x64 on a computer that I recieved from a friend yesterday and I seem to be getting BSOD's. I have recieved two so far. From what I can tell, it looks like it happens when the screen turns off. When I move the mouse to wake up the computer,
the computer just restarts without warning. I never actualy see the BSOD, but when Windows restarts, it tells me that there was a BSOD and points me to the Minidump folder. See the link below for the dmp files:
https://skydrive.live.com/redir.aspx?cid=0b498733c2186cf6&resid=B498733C2186CF6!125
Computer Specs:
Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe GeForce 7900GS 3GB Corsair DDR2 1066MHz Core2Duo 6600 @ 2.4GHz
For a more details set of specs, see the DxDiag in my SkyDrive folder (link above).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Christopher

OK,
You can disable (if you want) Automatic Restart to see BSOD:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/automatic-restart-windows-7.htm
Next what you can try to update the BIOS of your mainboard. If you do not know how to do it, you can send me the
manufacturer and the model number of your
computer (if it is the brand computer) or the manufacturer
and the model number of your mainboard
(if it is composed from the parts).
