My current PC, utilizing Microsoft XP Media Center Edition, is loaded only with applications. I have three external hard drives. One ext hd is for Business files (300GB), one ext hd is for Personal files (200 GB), and the third ext hd (750 GB) is to back up the other two hd's. Currently, I copy all files from their respective hd to the "Backup" hd (750 GB hd). This is very time consuming.QUESTIONS:1. Would it be better to utilize the Backup tool (right-click on drive / Properties / Tools) for my 200GB and 300GB hard drives instead of copying all of the files over?2. Is one method (copying vs backup tool) better than the other?3. What would I need to do to actually use that backup file generated from the backup tool, should something happen to the source files?
