Backup and Restore....well it did something.
Due to the volume of data I would like to back up and the speed of my hardware. Backup and Restore has never completed. Because of power or network outages the longest I have been able to get Backup and Restore to run is about 7 days and it had reached almost 50%. Each Sunday, it tries again. It has backed up almost half a terabyte of "stuff" over the last couple of months. I have no idea what has and has not been saved. I thought I might be able to break the backup set into smaller parts but don't see any way to make Backup and Restore do more than one backup. Shall I just delete the existing backup and try again since I don't know the full status of the existing backup? What do you recommend to resolve this problem? Keshka

Hi, You may refer to the following links. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/features/backup-and-restore.aspx http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/1838/using-backup-and-restore-in-windows-7/ You may choose “let me choose which files to backup” option when you reset up the backup and restore setting.
