Backup folder empty
I have Window Professional XP and so far have only installed the operating system and my software and imported emails and settings from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail, also two user accounts.When I did a backup to an external hard drive, a folder was created but nothing was in it, not even the system image it said it was going to make

Thw "WindowsImageBackup" folder will intially appear to be empty if you mouse over the folder name. Thanks for your answer Stuart. I found your pagestart articles very interesting. I was able to see that the Backup folder wasnt empty when I was in administrator mode. I was also intrigued by your partitioning of your hard drives but I guess that is the subject of another forum. As you guessed I made a typo by saying Windows XP when I really meant Windows 7.Thanks again.
