Bitlocker Question
Hello I have a question regarding BitLocker. The scenario goes like this:
I have a machine with a single hard disk. This hard disk has 3 partitions: System Reserved, C: (OS), and D: (DATA).
C: and D: partitions are encrypted with BitLocker and the key is stored in Active Directory and the machine's TPM.
I want to format and reinstall a fresh copy of Windows on C: partition while keeping all my data on D: safe and encrypted with BitLocker.
If I was to do this, when I boot into the newly installed Windows, will I be able to access my data on D: drive? If I will be able to, how do I go about accessing it?
Any help if greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Based on my knowledge, A BitLocker volume has a clear-text BPB much like FAT and NTFS. The BPB is located at the first 0x54 bytes of the first sector of the volume.

So you could reinstall the OS and use the pervious password to decrypt the D partition.
