My Block Sender List function no longer maintains the list, so blocked e-mails are still coming into my inbox. How to fix?

Click on My Settings and then Configure Alerts. If you click on My Threads at any time, you will see only posts that you are involved in.Now to fix your problem, the Blocked Senders registry key is damaged. 1.. Close OE and then In Regedit, navigate to this key: |--HKEY_CURRENT_USER |-----Identities |--------{GUID} |-----------Software |--------------Microsoft |-----------------Outlook Express |--------------------5.0 where GUID is the Global Unique IDentifier for your Identity. 2.. Under that key, you will find the following sub-keys, amongothers: |-----------------------Block Senders |-----------------------Rules |-----------------------SignaturesSelect the Block Senders Key and delete it. Blocked Senders will be empty, but you can rebuild it now.Bruce HagenMS-MVP Oct. 1, 2004 ~ Sept. 30, 2010Imperial Beach, CA

all the other steps were there, but no GUID keycan i just delete the list in blocked senders and re-enter?Are you using Outlook Express? Just want to be sure since you just jumped in this old thread and didn't even say what your problem was.The GUID key, or Globally Unique IDentifier, doesn't say GUID, but is rather a long string of letters and numbers. If you are having issues with the Blocked Senders list, you must delete the Blocked Senders key as specified above with OE closed to fix it.BTW. If you are using Blocked Senders to try to block spam, it is a waste of time as the spammers are continuously changing their addresses. Message rules would be a better option.Bruce HagenMS-MVP Oct. 1, 2004 ~ Sept. 30, 2010Imperial Beach, CA
