Blue Screen Problem in Windows 7 64 bit
Dear All, I am currently using the Windows 7 64-bit in Toshiba Satellite M500-5433. My laptop has started crashing since the first few days I purchased it. I removed all the softwares installed, but the problem still persists. Then I ran a Recovery Process, and the laptop crashed halfway thru, so I am unable to access to Windows at all. When I go back to the shop where I bought the laptop, they claimed its the RAM problem and changed the RAM stick for me. Initially it ran smoothly, but just after few hours, it started crashing again. Down here is the link of the dump file for your reference. I really do hope that my problem can be solved. This is my new laptop and I am quite tired experiencing so much trouble with it. Thank you for anyone who is willing to lend out their helping hand. http://cid-05e53ba38d7b68fb.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/Dump.zip

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT (101) An expected clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor in an MP system within the allocated interval. This indicates that the specified processor is hung and not processing interrupts. One of the CPU cores is hanging. Contact the support, they should replace the CPU."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

It may be worthwhile to check for an updated BIOS.

The system goes to a BSOD because there is some exceptions happened in the kernel (either the device driver errors or the service errors), and Windows implements this mechanism: When it detects some errors occur in the kernel, it will kill the box in case some more severe damage happens. Then we get a blue screen or the system reboots (it depends on what the system settings are). To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum. A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below: Microsoft - Help and Support If you are outside the US please see Microsoft Worldwide Home for regional support phone numbers. Meantime you may remove the antivirus and run the system with a period. If the issue does not occur, mainly focus on antivirus settings and compatibility. Also you can contact Toshiba support to check for hardware issues. Important Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support.
