Blue screen comes up on repetition.
Okay, so.
Im currently running Widows 07 Home Premium. Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600
My laptop (on random intervals) keeps bluescreening. I thought it was something to do with a virus perhaps or a faulti nthe registry so I scanned, scanned again, cleaned up my registry with SpyBot S & D.
However, it says in the bluescreen that I should uninstall any newly installed hardware or software. (I haven't installed any hardware on this laptop ever, only software)
I looked in my recently installed programs in add/remove programs.
And only a couple of things came up.
A couple of games I've torrented (however they always come up clean in virus scans etc)
It's all rather annoying because I could be doing anything at all and it'd just be like BAM bluescreen.
However I have noticed it has a fondness for whenever I click on the Link to My Documents in my taskbar. It's happened 3 or 4 times...
I'm very much keen to fix this myself becauseI hate going to an IT store to get it fixed and get overcharged. I know what it's worth because i'm in IT classes at tafe.
So if you require any more information, have any ideas whatsoever. Please feel free to message because I'm in a hurry to get this fixed.

We can analyze the minidumps if you make them available from the SkyDrive or other file
sharing sites.
Zip or upload the contents of C:\Windows\minidump
Use SkyDrive to upload collected files

Also do this so you can see the likely bluescreens.
Windows Vista automatically restarts if your PC encounters an error that causes it to crash.
(also Windows 7)

Check with these utilities to see if any information can be gathered :
This is an excellent tool for posting Blue Screen Error Information
BlueScreenView - Free - scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death'
crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one table.

-------------
MyEventViewer can be checked at the time of the BlueScreen (BSOD) to within a second or
so of the time of the BSOD to provide more information as to possible cause - see TIP.
MyEventViewer - Free - a simple alternative to the standard event viewer of Windows.
TIP - Options - Advanced Filter allows you to see a time frame instead of the whole file -
set it to a bit before and after the time of the BSOD.

------------
AppCrashView - Free - a small utility for Windows Vista and Windows 7 that displays the
details of all application crashes occurred in your system. The crashes information is extracted
from the .wer files created by the Windows Error Reporting (WER) component of the operating
system every time that a crash is occurred. AppCrashView also allows you to easily save the
crashes list to text/csv/html/xml file.
