I'm using Windows 8 64-bit on Dell Inspiron 5521. I've recently bought the laptop and everything is as preset. I never changed any settings. The bluetooth driver is already installed.
I can add devices. I can even receive bluetooth file transfer from my mobile phone but the thing is, at the bluetooth icon in the tray, there are no Send File or Receive File option. There are only "Add a bluetooth device", "Allow a bluetooth device to connect", "Show bluetooth devices", "join a personal area network", "Open settings", "remove icon".
However, when I press Win+R and run "Fsquirt", the bluetooth file transfer pops out. I can send/receive. Do I really have to do this everytime I want to send files via bluetooth? This is very annoying.
Please help me. Thanks guys!
This message was written by another user for his Lenovo laptop. Since I have exactly the same problem on my Dell laptop, I have copied it verbatim. Please help me out as the Dell tech support has been unable to solve the problem. Thanks.
