When I map to the C$ share from one Vista PC to another, the folder is very slow to open. However, if I map to c$\users or any other other folder beyond the root share, the folder opens fast. I have seen the post that says to turn off the "Remote Differential Compression" feature, however, in our environment that feature is off on all workstations. Does anyone have another solution to this issue other than turning off Remote Differential?
