CAN'T CONNECT LEXMARK FAX TO BELL DSL 2-WIRE MODEM
Hi. I have a Lexmark printer / fax/ scanner all in one and a new fax number (separate from my phone number). When I try to set up my fax info and it goes to find my modem, IT CAN'T FIND IT. I have been playing with this for days. My all in one fax/printer/scanner has one cable into the wall socket and one into my USB port on my computer. That is all. No wire to connect to modem directly. It is supposed to find it through my computer. DO I HAVE THE RIGHT MODEM FROM BELL?? Also, when I go into Device Manager on my PC, my modem does not show there either. I know its connected since I've been using it for years with internet and email. I believe the modem is hooked up automatically through the internet via Bell. Can anyone help?

Hi, Thank you for posting. I noticed computer does not recognize the modem and fax also cannot find the modem. Given the situation, I suggest you check the modem on your side, and install the latest driver for Windows Vista. In addition, I found a similar issue on Internet, you can refer to it to troubleshoot problem.
