CPU Constantly at 100%
I've run Spybot and McAfee and have not found any viruses, trojans, worms, etc. I have looked at all the processes, and I cannot find anything that stands out. I've shut down as many services as possible and tried running it in safe mode.
I increased my page file size, and I have plenty of available memory. When the recent Microsoft automatic update installed it fixed everything, but about 2 days later my performance came back to a screeching halt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Jeff

Try Malwarebytes anti-malware. If the scan comes back clean try Process Explorer to determine the issue.

How are you determining that the CPU is at 100%? Use Task Manager to determine which process is consuming the CPU. Launch Task Manager, go to the Processes tab, and sort the CPU column in descending order. What process appears at the
top of the list, and what is the value in the CPU column? Once this information is available, additional guidance can be provided.
