Call button icon not working for forwarding

Hello,

when I receive a call and wand to forward this call to someone else, by example someone in my favourites and press the call icon, Lync will close the transfer screen and nothing happens, I have to select always the phone number in the dropdown menu. Is this by design ?

Thank you

No, if you transfer the call the call will be transferred automatically to the other person.

Only if you make consultative call, it is possible to speak with the other person. Both function are supported for dialin manually or select a co

As Holger said, the call may have just been transferred, it's not a consultative transfer by default.

When you say, nothing happens do you mean that call isn't being transferred?  If that's the case, this isn't happening to me, but I may not be following your steps exactly. Can you post a few screenshots of the button you're what you see happening?

Do you have a Lync phone endpoint in your environment?  Does the issue occur with that as well?  Does it matter if you transfer to an internal or external extension?

You may have a general transferring issue, such as your gateway not liking REFER.  If it's a general transfer issue, then you might want to try disabling REFER support as can be seen in the pics here: https://phyler.wordpress.com/2013/01/15/lync-2013-refer-support/  Wait a few minutes and try again by calling in from your cell phone.

Hi Serge.R,

Agree with Holger, its a default behavior.

Transfer an incoming call

When you are in a call, hover over the Call button, click Transfer Call > Another Person or Number.

The window below will open. Enter the name of the person you want to transfer the call to in the search bar, or, select a person from your Contacts to transfer the call to.

Hover over the persons name and click the down arrow. Select the phone number you want to dial to transfer the call.

Best regards,

Eric

Ah, ok, this is a default behavior. You have to select the phone number. To click only on the phone button is now working.
