Can't Connect with the Internet using USB wirless
I have just installed a usb wireless to my desktop computer but it states DESN'T HAVE A VALID IP CONFIRGURATION. I have a wireless modem which I am using now on my lap top. My desktop was not was not wireless. Can someone tells me what I am doing wrong. I have unplugged the modem.

Hi Cynthia, Thanks for the post! Which model of your USB wireless card? Checking the compatibility in Windows 7 Compatibility Center firstly. If it’s compatible with Windows 7, please update the wireless card driver to the latest one to check if it works. Since you said the computer doesn’t have a valid IP configuration, click Start, input CMD, right-click it and run as administrator, then input: ipconfig /release [Enter Key] ipconfig /renew [Enter Key] Now check if it works. In addition , also try to input the IP address manually instead.
