Can't Log into Windows 7 User Profile - Logs into Temporary Account - All files and programs accounted for
Basically, when I try to log into my profile (I have administrator privileges), and it usually loads up my desktop right away. However I noticed something was wrong the minute it started saying 'preparing your desktop' and taking a while to do so. Then it lets me know it loaded a temporary account! At first I panicked and thought all my files were gone, but no, they're all there and in the right places, but it won't let me log into my account. I can edit my account's password and manage it otherwise, but it won't let me log into it. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on an HP Pavilion G Series laptop. I'm currently at college in my dorm. I would normally go to IT here for help, but I didn't get this laptop through the school so I don't think they'll help me. Prior to this incident, all I did was shutdown after a usual day and go to bed. This is happening first thing in the morning. Help please?
