Can't access file on a network drive
Hi,
I have a problem for one user in my organization after upgrading to windows 7. He used to access a shared drive and open any file without any problem.
After the upgrading, sometimes when he tries to open a file he is getting the error message "u:\shared\file.ext cannot be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path".
Any suggestions why this is happening?
Thanks

Hi again,
I just noticed that the user got this error message only if the file opened by another user.
He will be able to open it as soon as the other user close it.
I think it suppose to give a notification of "read only" rather than giving this error message!
Appreciate any help

Thank you Kim for your reply,
I don't think this is an office related issue, the file is opening fine on the local drive.
