Can't modify permissions for notepad.exe
I installed Windows 7 today and, after configuring other basic things, took my customary step of trying to fully replace Notepad with Notepad2. Sadly enough, I have been thwarted by access-denial at every turn here. Even running as administrator doesn't seem to be doing me any good: I set up a simple batch-file to replace all existing instances of Notepad, then ran it under an elevated command-prompt. I even tried manually editing the permissions for a single instance of Notepad, to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks!

Change the ownership on the file from TrustedInstaller to Administrator and then do your file operations.EDIT: Here's some information on TrustedInstaller - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa382503(VS.85).aspx
