Can't open a couple of sites that I always open.
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage is the message. I've opened two sites daily for a long time. The last week I can't and have no idea why. I went to Internet Options, Advanced and typed it in manually. I reset internet explorer settings, restarted

Perhaps the sites are temporarily down. Can you provide a link to the sites in question so someone else can check?Steve Hebert - Microsoft MVP, Internet Explorer

You can try one more thing, just go to command prompt and ping to the website command would be : ping websitename and see if you get any result. if you get reply back, means site is working, check the ip address you are getting while you ping to site. then
try to open site with that ip address.
Good Luck.

that is not always true, a lot of websites will block a ping atempt and give a false negitive, attempt this from another computer, with another internet connection if possible. if you are at a school/work setting, your network administrator may have blocked
these sites.
