Can't pair devices and Bluetooth Devices window not loading after installing Iogear GBU421 bluetooth adapter.
I have a problem similar to some that already have been asked but all the solutions therein have not worked. First of, a rundown of my setup: ASUS K50IN Laptop Windows 7 Home Premium Attempting to install an Iogear GBU421 bluetooth adapter Following the instructions of other folks on this site and others, I ignored the disk that came with the device and instead downloaded the drivers directly from the Iogear website. I installed them as instructed and everything appears to be in order except for two things: First, I can't get anything to pair with my computer at all. The only two things I've tried are my Blackberry Curve 8330 and my Sennheiser MM100 stereo bluetooth headphones. Naturally the next step would be to take a look at the settings, but when I right-click the bluetooth icon and click "Show bluetooth devices" or "bluetooth settings" it unsuccessfully attempts to open Bluetooth Devices under Printers and devices. The dialog box opens and attempts to load but remains blank. I've spent hours trying to find ways around this to no avail. Help?...
