Can't see the available networks
Hi! I have 3 computers; 2 of them are old but are working fine with win 7 32 bits and the router is a Belkin_N+_ 225F0B. I bought this new Asus notebook N61Jq and works with OS win 7 64 bits. It worked nicely in the first 3 days but then I lost the signal of the networks and I have seven around my house cuz they are detected by the old "buddies". I updated the LAN driver (Atheros) but I couldn't update the wireless driver (bcm). Does anyone knows how to solve this problem? I really need a helping hand here. Thanks

Is the wireless on\off switch in the on position? Then check the wireless device in device manager for the correct make and model. For the US version of your computer, it appears that if it's not an Intel wireless network adapter, then the Asus Azurewave driver is needed. (not bcm) The latest for Windows 7 64-bit was posted on 5/11/2010. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us Select notebooks, series and model, OS version, then select the wireless category.
