Can /31 IP be accomadated in Windows XP/windows 7 PC ?
My ISP has changed from giving /30 IP's(255.255.255.252) to /31 IPs(255.255.255.254).
Can a /31 Subnet be entered in to a windows PC. If can, how ?
Currently this is not possible as it gives an error.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
This works with CISCO. Is there any Windows version which support this at all?

Hi,
IP protocol is the same one. Most time, it was set on router, if you connect computer to internet directly, you may set on Windows.
Here is one discussion can be referred to.
unable to use - /31 - 255.255.255.254
