Can I use a LAN and a WWAN connection at the same time on Vista?
Here is my dilemma: I am running Vista Ultimate, and I have 2 potential Internet connections: 1. A corporate LAN connection that is very fast, but filters certain ports and sites and restricts usage. 2. A wireless EV-DO connection, but the signal is so poor that it is very slow, but on the upside, it has no site restrictions. Now my problem is I have a customapplication that I need to run and it gets blocked by the LAN connection, I'm not sure if it's because of the domain (nothing weird) or the ports, but in any case, it does not go through. However, it runs just fine with the EV-DO connection. It's a bit slow, but it's better than nothing. But since 95% of my Internet usage does not get blocked, I would rather keep my Web browsing and e-mail on the fast LAN connection, and use the EV-DO connection *for that single application only*. So basically I want Windows, IE, Outlookand everything else that uses the Internet to use the default LAN connection, but I'd like to tell that one single application process to use the EV-DO connection. Can I do this in Vista Ultimate? If so, how? Thanks for your help. Nick
